Regina Sawyers

With the successful completion of the Google Certification program, I have begun my journey into the World of UX Design.

Combining a Masters of Business Administration with business acumen, I have owned and operated a Cake Decorating business, worked as a Product Development Manager for Eden Toys, and created and executed designs and projects for a Men's loungewear company.

I am a designer who understands business, and a business person who loves design!

I have a passion for history, cooking, and animals. The New York Yankees rock, Gordon Ramsey can cook, and my standard poodle is just about the cutest puppy ever!

I welcome the challenge of new endeavors and the chance to grow both professionally and personally.

My UX Journey

Anyone Can Cook

A responsive app designed to encourage users to learn kitchen techniques through skills-based recipes, so they gain the confidence to create delicious meals at home instead of ordering take-out or delivery!

Key Takeaway: Throughout the design process, the ability to remain focused on user needs is key.  A solution which answers the problem is far superior to a splashy presentation that forgets the user.

Details matter, regardless of how insignificant they may seem.

Test, test and test.  Not only do users discover pain points which exist, they also uncover and highlight designer biases.
